Tire gauge

Any one with knowledge on how to repair u.s. gauge dial indicator tire pressure gauge? Dis-assembly and repair.

I seem to recall replacing a timing gear without a lot of trouble many years ago, but forgot how I did it.

That may be the problem, hooked up the charger for less than a minute, charger read full charge, unhooked charger and starter spun as it should. So,, get good battery and use maintainer in the future.

Also noticed when I started the car after sitting several weeks my horn barely spun after running engine about five minutes the horn sounded great.

So my battery reads 6.3 volts, but when I hit starter it barely turns over the engine, acting as if the battery is dead, where should I look for a problem? Battery, ground connections??????

I put baby powder liberally around inside of tire, install half of tire on rim then carefully insert tube. Then I add some air to get wrinkles out with valve core removed. Deflate tube and gently...

So… dropped t box cover, no juice on either terminal, inspected wires all seem ok, laid a wrench across t box studs and hit the horn button. She sounded off like a new bride on her honeymoon....

Left garage on a four mile cruise, two miles in, engine cuts out and restarts happened second time, restarted, third time no go, no lites, no horn but turns over. Where to look, terminal box, switch?

Don’t know about going into Canada but coming from Canada is a piece of cake. Stop and fill out a us customs form,takes bout ten minutes and you are on your way.

Ez trick is to attach a piece of wire to the choke arm, on the carb, if so equipped and thread it out thru the radiator, form a finger loop in it. Then you can choke it and crank it without moving...

Just curious, how many miles do think your A has travelled since it rolled off the assembly line? Cars certainly would not have annual mileage as we have today, and certainly as the years rolled by...

Perhaps the hole you are encountering is a roll pin which needs to be pushed out.
