Re: Wheel Cylinder issues
Thank you for the reply. It's been a couple of years since I ran those lines. Maybe I did use solid copper washers rather than copper crush washers. I hate getting old. I knew all this stuff...

Re: Wheel Cylinder issues
Another F1 front cylinder question. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be an adapter between the brake line and the cylinder port? I bought new wheel cylinders and rubber lines from NAPA and...

Re: Got a gearbox?
Strange that I should run across this thread just after seeing one of these on Cleveland, TN FB. Looks to be complete, outside is crusty but the interior is very clean. ID# is 54-23176 or 54-23I76....

92/81 Carbs
I have read and understand that the 81 carbs came on the V8 60 engine. Will two 81's work on stock 59AB and if not, why do so many people seem to want them?

Re: Block boring
I don't know where you are in AL but if you're anywhere Chattanooga, Roberts and Sons, 4285 Bonny Oaks Dr., Chattanooga, TN, 423 698 4097, is the place to go. I've been very pleased with their work....

Re: '35-'36 W/8BA Fan
Do you think it would be possible to modify this fan setup for a 59AB? With the stock fan mount as low as it can go, the fan blades are going to run into the bottom of the upper radiator hoses about...

Re: Rust Oleum spray cans
I have several spray cans of Rustoleum that I've had for more than two years. About 9 months ago, I turned the cans upside down and every month after that, I would alternate turning them right side...

Mac. I think your idea of a weekend training session on rebuilding transmissions, or anything else you would want to share, would be great. If you decide to do so, I would like to be there. You've...

Re: 41 merc v8 oil pressure
I'll take it that you don't have an oil filter. I plugged the port that would have normally supplied the oil filter, removed the 6v sender and installed a mechanical gauge. I think the new gauge...

Not trying to hi-jack this thread but, I have a large quantity of NOS rod and main bearings that came out of a Ford dealers inventory when they were declared obsolete. There are floaters and later...

Re: Is this radiator salvageable? (cost wise)
The determining factor in my decision to replace the original radiator in my '48 Merc with aluminum was cost. $600+ to re-core locally as opposed to $204 from Champion with free shipping. It was...

If I'm in the wrong forum for this, please let me know. I'm a newby and I just went through a semi-trailer full of NIB and used flathead parts. One of the Dynamatic fans was in the mix. It was new...
