Re: 32 Ford Cowl Vent

Many Thanks! Most posters would not tie the knot at the end of the thread! Kudos!

Dudes, a lesson to learn here... Keep one topic rolling on a single thread. Helps the helpers.

Re: 1936 5 Window exhaust

Man I shouldn't say this but the title hooked me into thinking there was some kind of '36 car in this question, and there is. But the different engine, different headers, duals vs. single...

Re: It's Friday. Time for a Flathead video. Crusty Flatty Pt.15.

Haha. During the stud removal tap-tap-tap my honey-pie got a little tense... Didn't stop me from enjoying!

Re: side curtains

IMHO Side curtains are very much like the old-school tailored pants. They need fitting to the person/vehicle they are going to be used on.

Re: 46 wagon spare tire cover

mercman I love those two pics. First from Tahoe {EPIC MEET} and then from Dearborn 2018 another exciting experience.

Bless you for the way you create and collect images of stuff that fires me...

Re: 46 wagon spare tire cover

You'll figure it out when you try to fit the rig together. Let a bunch of air out of the spare. Do it with the tire off the car. Then mount the whole rig to the spare tire holder.

I'm not...

Re: 46 wagon spare tire cover

Yup, they just clinch around the tire on my '35-'36's. There is a disc that fits under the lip of the 'ring.'

Re: 30s side panels to hood protection

Up through '36 the hoods open from the side. They have bumpers on the hood sides and fenders.

Later, "hood up" cars, I have no clue.

Edit: Now I've read your post again. No the engine side...

Re: engine is a quandary

Yup, That's on me. Not reading carefully. I suggested it would have to come apart. Then I saw a new crank was coming. Egg on my face.

Hi Everyone. Art Newland, thanks for the post. That valve valley is so typical.

Re: 1936 fuel line and wiring loom clamps?

Not exactly on topic but when I used a 36 tank in my 35 I used the repro filler neck because the one I took out had been buggered by the previous owner. That 36 neck is a touch short because of the...

Re: New member, new project

Looks like a headlight conversion to my eye. Original ones have a goofy shaped bulb with a PITA mount using three spring loaded attachments!

I tried DuckDuckGo for a while... I like that they don't track you like Google.

This particular issue is the borderline malware that is Search Encrypt. Certainly falls into the 'possibly...

Re: need help from you wizz kids?

Search Encrypt is a browser extension that somehow got added to your computer. It's an accessory for the browser of sorts. Depending on the browser, find the place where add-on's or extensions are...

Re: 32 Ford Cowl Vent

Man I wrestled with this on my '35... Not much help here but expect the gasket to get a touch thinner after it finds a home. Still it's a fiddly job. Good luck.

Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton

Nicely played but I think the car did the hitting. If the train hit it then there would be more bent parts on the secondary market and secondary roads!

Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton

I also read this as the car in motion when the disaster happens. If yes, that's an impressive hit to do what we see to the front bumper.

If the car was sitting and got clobbered then the bumper...
