I would pack the valve area with a thin rope, then the valve bar and grease as stated above.

Fill and bleeder holes were drill after the sleeve was installed, at least that is what it looked like. The inside didn't look anything was going to be a problem, smooth bore, good finish, piston fit...

They are new cylinders, nothing stuck or binding, just looks like a case of not enough press. I was surprised to see they were sleeved. Thinking about it I don't see a problem with a straight...

Picture of said wheel cyl. Because its two different sizes fluid can get between the two sleeves. Didn't take a lot of pedal for it to pop out.

Look at 67 or 68 throttle linkage, they have a lever hanging down close to the firewall and a short 7" long cable running to the kick down. Would be easy to copy and make work for you.

I did a Mustang once, tighten every thing hanging, and the car was stuck there. Loosen the lowers once engine was in and it dropped almost 2". I would wait.

I bought a set of there bumpers about a year ago, haven't even unwrapped them yet! They were good to deal with, and supplied a plans to build new brackets.

Along with the tail pan dmfrr mentioned being shortened, there is a issue with the bottom of the quarter panel where the 56 exh came out, then the licsene plate doesn't fit where the 55 plate went....

I used to cut 1/2 thick alumium with a skill saw, just used a carbide tipped blade. Makes a really big mess with chips. Just be careful for kick backs.
