I did exactly this on my '39 Deluxe. Got some 6 v motor from Napa and connected it to a factory switch. Unfortunately I didn't document it since I thought the task is a-brainer.

As for plates, the standard in Russia is x000xx00 where x is a letter that's common for both...

The steering wheel was covered with some Japanese synthetic leather (if you want I can check with the upholstery shop). It feels like a real leather but very durable. For example, no damage...

Yes, classic cars here are rare in general. Personally I know only two other Ford V8s - one is 1938 Standard ForDor, another is 1937 delivery truck that was converted into a prison transport....

I have a pressure regulator, so that shouldn't be the problem. I set float level as per Ford manual - air horn upside down, measuring from the bottom of the float to the gasket surface 1 3/8 - 1...
