Ahhh... That makes sense. I've noticed some of the hot roads have a gas cap somewhere on the rear of the car.

Wow. This is a really old thread.

I too have 6v positive ground. I donít see the need to change anytime soon because the car runs fine.

However, I do see why many folks switch to 12v negative...

That may be my issue. I didnít want to disturb the temperature probe, and my thermostat ended up against the radiator.

I just replaced my top hose with a replacement from Brattonís. It seems to be 2Ē inner diameter. The bottom hose seems to be 1 3/4Ē inner diameter.
