Re: Bead roller stand

I like that power adapter. I think I'll order one.

For anyone that is NOT going to use a power adapter, I adapted a steering wheel to replace that hand crank. That helped a lot, especially when...

Fastenal rates are good. I used them and they did a good job. Just be aware that their 'insurance' pays scrap metal prices.

Also, interestingly, they told me I had to completely box the engine. ...

Re: 1935 Pickup Rear Fender in Steel

Chuck,
I don't know of anyone producing them. There is a guy on ebay that does really nice metal work. He reworks old ones and sells them on ebay. Pricey for sure, but that is what I ended up...

Re: Wiring pic needed

Yes John. Pics is what I need. :)

And Dick is correct. T5 is going in the truck. The coupe has gone from bad shifting to worse so it'll get a makeover if I live long enough to get it done. I...

Re: Wiring pic needed

Well, I need a picture. I want to know how it is routed over/under/around the front cross member and into the fender wells.

Wiring pic needed

Can someone please post a pic or two of how the wiring harness routes from the bottom of the steering column toward the front cross member?

I'm specifically trying to see how the headlight wiring...

Re: Protection for aluminum heads

I'm glad I'm not the only one with hose problems. Those aluminum fittings are the pits. I've had to cut some of them off as well. And don't even get me started on the cheap sprinklers....

As to...

Really cool, Tony. Congrats!! What's the story on this one? Was it close to you? Something you were looking for or just too good to pass up?

I ended up using...

Re: removing head studs

I think Lawrie's method is great. A slight variation of the welded washer/nut combo. The key is to get enough heat down into the stud to break the thing loose. I think it is much easier to get the...
