You should look up the local automotive paint supplier.
They usually work with the body shops.
But here we just drive a car to their business.
They come out with their computer.......

We just had a Coupe verified that had been out of the DMV system for 40+ years.
Got paperwork from DMV.... had a CHP come by the house and verify the number under the cab on the frame. He was there...

Looking at a 1931 Modela A standard Coupe project
The owner has collected some additional parts that would go with the car.
One of the items is a back window roll up.
He says this is complete........
