1936 rear shock position

I have rear lever shocks for my 1936 coupe. Should the filler tube face up or down and should the filler face the front or the rear of the car.
Any pictures would help me thanks.

Are you a 100% that the front and rear shock links are the same length?
I was told that for 36 cabriolets the front are 4” and the back are 3”.
Where did you find the information on the shock link...

Thank you kube for your answer. I have seen a lot of engines with the oil pan the same color green. My engine has a black oil pan but had to clarify the correct color. Thanks again, Tony.
