The heater door should have a cover, if it doesn't replace the whole thing.

Re: Old problem but new twist? Coolant loss

Strap a bottle at the bottom of the radiator and run the overflow tube into it. Then fill the radiator and drive it.

Re: Choke to start all the time?

When hand cranking use a cloths pin to hold the choke open to prime it with ignition off.
I think I always choke mine.

Dash Panel Mounting

My dash panel is held on by one screw because the mounting tabs have fallen off the gas tank.

Re: Roadster getting harder to start

I guess I would follow a few clues.

But since your in SoCal that might not help.
Second, what would stick when not...

How long has it been getting worse?
Is it getting colder there?

Does the starter turn quickly?

I put the modern wireless plate in. I only do about a thousand miles a year but have never had a problem.
What kind of problems have you had?
