Got a red inner tube out of a tire off a 29 fire truck ,it has since been cut up and used for paddin between frame and gasoline tank still have some but it's cracked up a bit .

Yep , that silicon does make a mess. I have that strip caulk on hand ,thanks for the advise .

What is best way to install outside trim to my newly painted 40 Ford 2 door standard sedan ? After using prescribed clips ,do you fill the holes with a silicon type sealer ?

have removed the towers ,wanting to get them rechromed ,cant seem to disasemble towers .I see how to remove the chain but how do you remove the shaft that goes thru the tower ? appear to be MADE on...

Have a 42 motor in a 40 Ford ,it has a cannister type oil filter ,removed the filter from cannister and it was so fouled up cant make out the model number ,but did make out wicks on it ,what is...

48 did not have locking steering . Locking steering stopped in 47

JSerry ,yeah , I have this and the contact but contact fits on the opposite side of this and there seems to be something that holds the contact in place .Thanks

Was idleing my Model A trying to get the ooggha horn to work,idled it up and it started making the darndest noise ,seem to be comming from back of motor ,sounded like something fixin to come apart ....

I have the same problem you had , darting back and forth ,been thinkin on goin to 16 inch have 16 inch 35 Ford rims ,was wondering how much thay cost from Coker ?
