mounting vase bracket on 31 SW Town Sedan

Can someone tell me if there is a wood in the door post behind the driver's seat. I don't seem to get much of a bite when trying to mount the vase bracket. Thank you in advance.

Got it figured out. I had replaced the rear bulbs w/ halogens. The breaker was a 20 amp OLD guy (just like me!). I replaced the breaker w/ a 30 amp fuse, and problem solved.

Small circuit breaker heats and opens

When the engine is NOT running, if I turn my headlights on, they light, and the running lights are on. After a few minutes all go out and the circuit breaker on the small fuse block on the starter...

Turn signals: ground or isolate terminal block

I am installing a turn signal in my 31 TS. Can I mount the terminal block that all the wires will feed in to and out of on an inside panel (metal) or does it have to be insulated from grounding? ...

Gasket in. Just no gap for the shims. Loosen bell housing and jack car at the oil pan to try and recreate a gap, or let it alone?

I am FINALLY reinstalling my rebuilt engine. Engine in; drivetrain/tanny all in. There is no way to fit the shims that fit at the throttle linkage. The housings are totally mated. Suggestions? Thanks...

Can the firewall gas supply fitting (that the shut-off valve screws in to) on a 31 (indented firewall) be removed and replaced w/o removing the gas tank? Thanks in advance for any info.
