My heavily lowered 50 with 53 pan has that system and I have to make adjustments ( a lot) to clear that pan , but I also have lowered king pins and steering arms.
New idler arm is great upgrade.

Maybe it's already covered here but , hot water should go to the lower port of heater core and return hose to upper port . That way heater is always full of coolant and it will blow hot even when...

Problem solved. Rubber was just like original. I just have to stretch that rubber a LOT , so it got thinner and then slide + pound in the glass . Then release the rubber and it expanded locking the...

Thanks for response . Vent windows were easy, because of that setting tape , but for Conv.
door glass is surrounded with that SS framing and glass is kept place with dedicated rubber...

Hi,all.
Can you educate me... what is the procedure to install new door glass in the stainless frame of the convertible door.
I have the new rubbers but it seems to be impossible to slide the glass...

I'm using Edelbrocks new 500 CFM AVS2 4 barrel ,great throttle response and fuel economy.
Did need major tuning with AFR meter thought. Ugly and too modern , but under the hood of 50 Conv and air...

The tube from filter to valve cover on OHV engine is intake side of the PCV system , blow by fumes are sucked through PCV valve straight to intake , usually there is that large tube underneath...

Check the idler arm bushing ,it is usually worn out. And usually steering box adjustment is wrong , its little tricky to adjust , but if you get yourself factory shop manual there is right procedure...

When I did get my replacement heater motor , wires coming out of motor were backwards (red - and black +)it did run but not like it should. Flipping the wires solved the thing and
now it blows ok....

Angle milling is best , that way transfer and valve area stays more open.
Then turn the head around and go through head bolt holes and straighten the bolt bosses.

I did mine out of POM- plastic(polyacetat), it worked out great.
