Re: 36 Fords

I think it’s the popularity of it. And bodies that used to be tossed are now being saved plus the reproduction bodies. There may be more now than there were actually built. :)

Re: production of 36 3 windows vs 5 windows

[QUOTE=Tim Ayers;1811957]Ralph, I'll try to find the Rodder's Journal issue that has Cole Foster's version in bare metal.

Re: production of 36 3 windows vs 5 windows

I’d like to see that!
My 35 three window is perfection in my opinion. Love to see the differences.

Re: Top three Ford Products, '32 - '53

35 three window, and 47-48 coupes(I know, but there’s just something about them I like!)

Oh, and if Lincoln’s are included, hard to beat the looks of the 38-39 Zepher coupes.

Re: -37 Ford Drag Racing Leaf Springs

Swedish drag strip! I’d love to see videos of the races!

Re: 1935 Pickup Rear Fender in Steel

Amazing video on the fender beading! So what does “expensive” mean? I’m almost afraid to ask, but if your doing a one off restoration, you have to go that route, unless you have the talent to do it...

Re: Cam Degreeing/Checking Important

I’ve built plenty of engines, and as you say, I have never degreed a cam. So for us cam dummies, does the dial indicator on #1 cyl check for TDC? And how do you set your front needle point?
