Not all generators have an inverter. Some just put out 60 hz at rated speed. The problem w/them is that the frequency varies w/the speed of the generator. Most are rated at 3600 RPM which equates to...

LEDs run on DC, so any that are energized from AC power need a power supply the converts the AC to DC at the proper voltage.

If the tank has deteriorated from the use of gasohol you'll have to replace it w/a new gasohol resistant tank.
