Mallory Distributor?

I've just changed my points distributor to a Mallory uni-lite pointless ignition. The only way I could get it to fire was to turn the distributor 180 degrees.
Which makes the crap cap upside down....

Offenhauer

For Sale is an older Offenhauser 4 bbl manifold 3 7/8" on bolt hole centers. The gasket surface seems to be flat. Threads are good. 8ba and others.

Ventilating the Flat Head!

Does the 8ba Flathead get enough ventilation through just the oil filler pipe? My motor does not have any other means other than this oil fill pipe.
