It's a matter of common sense guys, keep hygiene essential and you wont catch the common cold, flu or this new one. The big hype is that there's no vaccine yet for this. At least Advil or Tylenol...

Dave just call Berts they will have one. That's the first thing I had to replace on my Phaeton when I first got it. My original had one half broke off.

Use the BRASS FLOAT you will not have to replace it.


The Zenith carbs were originally made with brass floats, why did the gas tank use a cork float ? Henry should have thought about that.....

Perhaps a previous owner drilled the holes but I have mounted my mirror and air-conditioner from the header brace. It's a mirror used on the "open" Model "A"s and I can see just fine outside the rear...

On the angled lip above the windshield there are a string of pre-drilled holes that I mounted a rear-view mirror from my '28 Model "A" open phaeton. It has just the right amount of angle and length...

local swap meet maybe, go to Hershey this summer, should be some there. or look on the internet but most likely you'll have to repair and restore one then have it plated yourself.

My phaeton had an exhaust manifold from ARGENTINA with 1/8" misaligned ports. That was one of the first things I tossed in the recycle heap.

Steve check the book "Henrys Lady" or one of the other "A" books. There is a note about that vent somewhere mentioning it was only on the driver side.

I think they help with cooling. Had them on my Phaeton since 2001 and never had any issues with over-heating. Motometer gauge never shows any signs of stress and with a thermostat as extra safety...

My '33 pickup has the engine stamping on the driver side top frame rail as David mentioned. The flange edge of that front fender has a notch-out to visibly see the stamping, clear as day. I wish...
