Re: Upcoming Swap Meet in Tulare, CA

We will be there, managed to get rooms, I have been locked up since March last year, the map was helpful showing where the pre-war stuff is and will certainly save me some walking, Amen.

Re: Oil filter Question

Yes I got that sorted out, I was looking for the small stubby filters, should I refit my Vortex manifold, which needs clearance with the front carb and filter, the filter specs do not always quote...

Re: Excessive right front tire wear?

Yes you can have more toe in on one side than the other, in my case it was a bent left steering arm causing the right front wheel to turn to far scrubbing the tire, take a look at the gap of the tie...

Re: steering sector

I have yet to hear of any poorly made 7 tooth parts, there are only 2 adjustments to make, there are shims in the lower housing to remove the play in the bearings top and bottom of the worm gear, the...

Re: Throttle shaft brass plug for zenith carbs

Re: steering sector

The first thing I would do is make sure the pitman arm bolt is tight, it takes a lot of torqueing to make that clamp close up, if that doesn't fix it then I would recheck all the measurements in the...
