It has the appearance of a 39 Mercury hubcap but like Rockfla said, it doesn’t appear to be a 2-piece hubcap. Found a pic of the backside...

I also bought upper and lower radiator hoses from the guy in the Netherlands without any issue. They fit perfect.

Clem - facing the same dilemma right now on my recently purchased 40 Merc. the bullet ends on the repo wiring harness I purchased are too small to properly connect to the original dash light dimmer...

recently bought a 40 Mercury Coupe from a friend and fellow Fordbarner. Heads are 81T and 99 is stamped on the front rail between the intake and head on the passenger side front of motor.
