Re: 1936 cabriolet front floor section

RHD cars had the battery on the right hand side and a hump/ dummy on the left. This may answer your question.

Re: Looking for a Top Kit for my 1936 Phaeton

Cartouche/ecklers list a top kit, boot and side screens, unfortunately they don’t reply to emails very quickly. I requested a sample card six weeks ago and asked if the side screens could be made...

Re: Repairing 1935 tail light stands.

Carriage bolts are spot welded to base. I would carefully grind off stud flush with base and then drill through the centre of stud 5/16, insert a new bolt and secure with a dab of mig, therefore...

Re: Model 60 at Bonhams UK Auction Sun 7th April

2807 model 60’s were produced in the UK during 1936 with the 4 main bearing 60hp engine, which was also tin sided. Compared with only 616 model 48’s during 1935. Before being replaced by the model 62...

Re: early v8 rhd chassis #s

Thanks for clarifying the trafficator fitting not being unique to the UK. I knew the brake rods weren’t. Sentence not phrased very well!
Was the red line at 30 mph unique to the UK?

Re: early v8 rhd chassis #s

Does your car have trafficators on the side of the bulkhead, ( possibly unique to uk?) six rod braking system or maybe, if it still as the original gearbox, a number stamped on the bell housing.

Re: can you use trim rings with lead wheel weights

Re: Piston rings and size . Help

Presume the 30 thou gap is the ring gap when the loose ring is positioned squarely in the bore. If you use 40 thou over rings in the same bore the gap will decrease too much.

Re: Do i need a steering wheel puller for a 41?
