I really enjoyed the recent one on pouring babbit and machining the connecting rod. They really do it with some nice old equipment, it really is a lost art.

Speedway sells an adapter - I just gave my local tire shop mine to borrow when I had them do my wheels/tires on the 36.
it worked really well and they were able to use it to balance them too.

I have bought 3 sets over the past 6 or 7 years with no issues. I’ve not had any balance issues as well. I have a set on wide 5’s another set on 35 wires and another set on 40 steelies. Can’t beat...

I keep mine waxed to prevent too much scuffing but being careful helps. If you're really worried you might want to try some sort of protective film you can remove and replace as needed. Here...
