What you have there is a cowl and windshield opening for a closed car.
It would be suitable for 2dr, 4dr, 5W, Victoria.
It will not work on a 3W, pick up, station wagon or any of the open cars....

In my experience the bulge shown is caused by the frame snubber hitting the top of the axle bells caused by hitting a bump in the road or a rear end collision (one side or both)

On 32 rears, the torque tubes are the same length for the round flange and the Hex (that's what Ford called the late 32 style TT) style.
Center sections are the same axle center line to the TT...

One important factor on the early boxes is to follow the instructions to the letter in the EXACT order they say.
If you do things out of sequence it can change the outcome and how the box performs....

I carry a small piece of wire 4 inches long with an insulated alligator clip on each end.
In case of a failure as shown in the pictures I can jump the two terminals without taking anything apart and...

It should have a small T shaped petcock.
It's not an on/off lever. That's there to drain the sediment bowl if necessary.
It must be closed for the pump to operate.

I use it for small parts in a small heated ultrasonic cleaning tank. Works amazingly fast and well.

Most pitman arms have 4 flats that align it on the sector shaft.
In hot rods we have done I have cut grooves into the flats to match those already there. That allows you to put the pitman arm...

If I remember correctly there was an article in the V8 Times about Modifying a Model A horn to mount as a 32 boat tail.
I think it was in the late 70's maybe the early 80's

Daytona Florida at the end of March here in Florida.
Rhinebeck in New York was cancelled.

If you solder the connection BEFORE you crimp the concern is if the joint heats up for whatever reason the solder may soften/melt and then the crimp will no longer be tight.
I always crimp first...

16 X 4 40 Ford wheels on the front of my 32 Tudor.
No Tubes, I used Metal valve stems So far no leaks
