If alternator tech was available then, were other autos equipped with them? I know Ford was slow on some things (hydraulic brakes, ect)..

I've started by attaching at the dash first, then threading DOWN to the distributor. I unbolt the distributor and remove it, attach the cable, and then reinsert the distributor.

Worked for me,...

Synchro, that is true. But all I have is the data supplied, just the names of the owners.... The only NC title search I can find requires a VIN. This is a 'long shot search' for sure, but worth...
