I discovered from a past search that the location of the rear mount to the frame on the 51 overdrive trans is not in the same location as the 49 and 50.

coil question

This is an old question I posted a while back but it's come back to haunt me so I"ll try it again.
The shop manual for my stock 1951 8ba calls for an ignition coil with a primary resistance...

Complete 1951 ford differential, minus brake hardware and shoes, excellent condition. This complete rear is ready to install and run, stock with a 3:90 or 4:11 ratio.

This is my version of the diaper fix. For that normal annoying drip from the bottom of the bell housing where some cars have a cotter pin. Just double up a piece of old towel wrap it around as shown...

looking for a way to lower the RPM at cruising speed by changing the stock differential gear ratio on my friends 1951 ford convertible. It's powered by a 302 with C4 auto trans with no overdrive....

Wouldn't the gasket manufacturer be the best place to get the correct installation instructions?

Some manufacturers want the ends of the rope seal to be proud on the ends and include a measuring...

My DIY catch can -- filter --for cleaning and catching residue oil from the vacuum line running between PCV valve and vacuum source fitting below carburetor. Consists of a few 2 inch pvc fittings...

Whats your opinion on this PCV valve kit for my 51 8ba. Instructions say to remove crankcase breather pipe and plug in pcv and adapter plug. Tee hose into hose on bottom of carburetor that is used...
