Car has been sitting for a few days, went out today and it fired off on about 4th...

Looks nice. The reason it's priced that way may be because it's a sedan and not a coupe. Also winter's coming and storage may be a problem. JMO

Advice/help needed

I have replaced the fuel pump and coil (coil removed was a 12V, installed a 6V). The car (40 Coupe/48 engine, dual 97's on an Almquist manifold).
I need to install a 6V elec fuel pump near the tank...

Many Model A folks fill the system with EvapoRust or the equivelent. Let it sit or some run with it. Then flush it good and reverse flush it. After that they will add a "gano" filter to catch...

On a Model A the trim strips (usually wood) are DOWN when the rack is "opened". I believe the 32 would be the same.

Go ahead and change the plugs, nothing to lose. Put in W-18's NOT 3X's, it will be cheaper to experiment this way.

Picked up a pump today, going to install Wed after ck'ng the plugs.
The coil and cond have been moved and mounted above the dist near front of manifold, the gen has been moved so it's over the right...

Pushing forward or down does not lock it. I hate to pull the ddoor panel as it's probably been on since the nauga was done in the early 60's.

BINGO, removed the seat, probably 1st time in a looong time. Lubed everything up and was finally get it to move, all back together.


The trunk is a different story, I put grease on the body side...

Thanks, I've sprayed where the gears ride on the track, it won't release.
The trunk latch is not latching, it "fell" and didn't latch.
