I would never question Mac, but can't a fork be installed backward in some trannys?

With the gear box open can you slide the gears forward and back?

I've lubed it several times, Checked the cable for kinks. Smoothes out at 52mph??

I'm with you guys. There ain't no 20 minute job. I busted the accelerator arm off'n a 94. IU have to remove the carb and completely dissemble it agin the get the replacement arm in.

I did get AC...

they made adjustments to the e-brake in the left rear and fixed something that was rubbing a brake rod and the brakes are fine now. Thanks all

Another Clubber is looking at the car. Removed a rear brake drum. brakes not stuck. Possible pinion jam?.

Wheel stuff is soybean. My wheel came from a roadster in a junk yard. The sun baked all the oil out of the soy. Wear gloves?

I jacked up one wheel yesterday and the wheel would move a few radians. I'm guessing that is the slop in the shoes. Can I pound on the ebrake lever on the backing plate? pound on the backing plate?...
