I am new to vintage cars, so the obsession is just taking root. Lifetime of hang gliding. Anything related to dogs. Playing acoustic guitar.

Beautiful job. I imagine you are very proud of it.
I have a 29' SC that will be needing a new top soon. Did you do this one yourself? Any advice/pointers?

I drained the system today. The initial few minutes the water was dirty looking, but cleared up. I ran the hose with the engine at idle for 10 min. or so. Nice and clear. Drained it again and filed...

Thanks for the replies. I am in Windsor, north of SF. I will try the drain/re-fill with distilled water and the pump lube tomorrow.
