Thank everyone for the imput, looks like Carpenter is what I will be buying.

Been looking at Bob Classic Auto Glass and Auto City Classics for the windshield glass.

If done a search of the forum and everyone recommends Bob Drake as the best windshield seal. Problem being is Drake is Out Of Stock. What experience has folks had with Carpenter and Steel Rubber...

Another thing, do not use the rubber gasket Ive seen to many of them to deteriorate over time. I always use a cork gasket and copper washers on the machine screws. No leaks.

If you look closely you’ll most likely see the tank itself has a lip rolled up inside of the flange. I ground the lip out and that allowed the sender body to drop in. I then took my tank to the local...

I asked but you didnít respond as to if youíre using the original tank. I bought a aftermarket tank for my 40 and the tank flange was correct but the opening was to small to allow the sender to set...

Thank you, I found a new set of Drakes on EBay for a convertible. Seller is actually a member here, he thought they might fit sedans also. He advised I do a search here and ask questions. Glad I did...

Read everything I can find on the forum and Iíve come down to the base is smaller on the convertible tower. Still havenít found if the contour is the same where they mount to the the cowl. Anyone...
