The hot gas problem must be one reason the new cars have the fuel pump in the tank.

Alan, is your idea about the crossover related to eliminating vapor lock or was there something else you were looking to do?

GM do you mean the bypass pipe comes off the pressure side of the pump and runs back to the fuel tank to enter above the fuel level with the pressure drop on the return line being enough to provide...
