The bed frame has hardwood planks on the underside and a solid steel bed floor on top. The bed steel is embossed with rub strips that look similar to the strips you would normally see on the wood...

I've seen insulation at Menard's that looks like 3/8" thick bubble wrap covered with reflective foil. Look for it in the insulation aisle, usually at the back of the indoor lumbar yard.

So to go along with this thread, once you have the marks set (which I could also do with a cam degree wheel I have),

They are 'curb feelers' not 'curve feelers', and they would need to be...
