Some easy to do tasks that are paramount to having the car start up well: Each and every ground must be very clean and tight.
Make sure you have heavy battery cables designed for 6v systems....

The top piece goes on the body, not the door. The "foot" of the "L" extends out, away from the body. It does not tuck in the channel. It begins just above the upper door hinge and runs back to the B...

Ralph, I'd done a concourse restoration on a '46 coupe a few years back and like you, was forced to cut open the rockers to access the caged nuts. Not too bad when the body was on the rotisserie...

I don't believe so.
External tooth or internal tooth lock washers are available for certain but both, again, I don't believe so.
Do you know the ID and OD of the washers you desire?

Many, perhaps most, were destroyed.
Keep in mind that LB had patterns for not only Fords, but MANY makes and models.
A loss to history for certain.
