I don't know where you live. But for all my life in So Cal Open Cab Pickups have been called Roadster Pickups. On CA Titles that are referred to as RPU.

A V8 and four speed would be a big job to swap into your AA. The V8 trans has no way to mount pedals or wishbones.

I neglected to heat and bend the arms before I had them powder coated. The fix was easy. I used Post War Ford Pickup tie rod ends. They gave the tie rod the rise needed to clear the wishbones. ...

I used a '32-'36 front axle to get a 1" drop. then a Posies reversed eye spring for another 2-2.5". I hate the look of dropped axles. ...
