correction on "3" ardun 60's. the first pic is for an 85/100 horse big f/h. as rare as arduns are, those 60 horse are very special!

had a flood in my house. have hundreds of rod mags dating back into the 50's and 60's. renovation requires house to be gutted, everything out. at this point in my life it's very likely i'll never use...

this is a rod, 21a '42 dizzy with points, 12 volt, blue bosch coil. the subaru resistor was on the car for maybe 2 years, but not a lot of miles. i have repaired cars for over 50 years with hundreds...

just fried a subaru resister on my front mount point type dizzy. (before you all start on the subby issue, one of my "knowledgable" flathead friends recommended this same resister as the best choice...

believe the motor in question was built by joe davis in the late 40's. 4 sets are extant out of 10 originally machined. speedway has one in their museum and had it on display at the ambr show 2...

you NEED to plug the holes on each side of the block that the 59a heads don't cover. conversely you can use 8ba heads on a 59 block by plugging the extra holes in the heads.
