Unless each weld (well) was exactly the same amount you've probably got hubs that are out of balance transferring to = shimmy. JMO

Loosen the screws, install the cap, orient it so it faces front, rotate the tabs under the neck of the radiator, tighten the screws, don't forget the gasket.

Unless the threads have been "screwed" up by the new bolts/ Try some sealer on the bolts or wrap dental floss on the bolts and re-install. FWIW

Y/day went to a show about 45 mi away, avg speed 55, 40 coupe, 59ab, hi-comp heads, 2 97's, duals, no stats. Stock temp gauge, stayed in the middle whole trip, coming back on got on divided h/way and...

Instead of pulling the stud, get the nut off FIRST and inspect the threads ! ! If you get lucky you might just need a nut. JMO
