Solved! The repop bezel needed gentle encouragement with pliers in order to open the gap enough to allow it to rotate enough to lock.

X2 on Tom’s method. Any cylindrical piece will work... I’ve used a piece of wooden dowel, you just need a base for the fulcrum for your prying.

The two seals numbered 6422 and 6423 (group numbers) in the picture below are no longer available that I’ve been able to determine. Seals 6424 and 6425 are the ones I was able to source from Van Pelt.

The seals for the dust shield are available from Van Pelts, I received a set in November. The seals for the top of the flywheel cover are not.

Thanks gents....

The frame was sandblasted and painted with a product that is used locally by a company that sandblasts and paints semi trailers and other big pieces.... picture attached...

That would be nice, but no, it’s a 15.9 litre pail, which according to on line conversion gizmos is 4 US or 3.5 imperial gallons. The environmental levies are calculated at 5 cents a litre here....

As promised, here are the details for purchasing SAE 90 GL-1 in Alberta....

UFA product number 9434723 is for the pail, $101.95 plus tax and levy’s. I was able to order mine through the Airdrie...
