I had several A-2492 retracting springs made off of the factory blueprint many years ago. The spring manufacturer now wants over $100 per spring to make them.

Your issue most likely is a combination of an aftermarket radiator and a reproduction shell.

Tom, if you can get PPG products in your area, I would recommend Concept, their catalyzed urethane single stage. It flows out beautifully and is super durable.

Picture #'s 3 & 4 are Heinze HA-C1's
The others are after market replacement wiper motors, not originally used on Model A's.

That raised "bracket" is there to be a spacer between the hood shelf and fender. Unless yours are flattened or broken off, they should mate up to the underside of the shelf. No need to worry that...
