Re: 1935 Hydrostatic Sending Unit
In my '33 I mounted a new tank and am using the sending unit as seen in Post #7 above but with a 1949 Ford fuel gauge to utilize the 2" dash opening. It fits without looking too far off from that era.

I would think the most obvious visual evidence is if the emergency brake handle is on the left cowl, all the other visual "Early" 28 features could be leftovers or replacement parts on a later...

Yes I think this should be safe
….attach two tow straps — one to each side of the front axle —and then the straps to the winch cable...… and ……. loop four straps from each end of both axles and...

Good Luck!!!! Not sure about the utility trailer, but I have transported mine on a flatbed tow-truck several times (also '28 phaeton) as long as she's rolling on your new tires, grab the front axel...

To drive it. I got out of my routine and now it's covered with an inch of dust plus I've gained about 25 pounds.
2021 will be the year of getting our lives back!
