Soon to be 76, but yesterday I got an early BD gift as my 37 pickup I've had since high school was published in the February issue of Hot Rod Magazine! My birthday is also in February. Oh so much...

thanks, I'll clean off the rust and reevaluate the condition again as well as the wood. It's a little scary to know half the rebuild time is in the bed as the rest is taking a lot also. Just hope...

I've tried PB Blaster, even covering the lock so it could soak. Also many other products. It just won't move. I am thinking about removing the column so I can get a better angle to trying whacking...

Thanks, I have the switch box off the back. Thinking about removing the switch plate on front, but the pins are almost flush and leave no room to grab. Hate to mess it up.

My lock has been removed and the cyl works fine after being removed. I just thought it was bad as it would only turn a few degrees and wouldn't release the steering lock.
