Thanks. iIlike that word "spiffy", I use it a lot and people think I'm living in the past.

Thanks Mart. I never thought of that. I know the front suspension was replaced before I bought the car but, never thought of king pin locking bolts.
They have worked fine.

Tighten nut down until you feel the resistance of the biscuit. Then tighten until you can insert the cotter pin. For some reason my 40 has acorn nuts. They were there when I bought the car in 1963.
