My heck, let's beat a dead horse. Read Sargent's book and pay attention to his statements on what happens to metal when it is damaged. Take that shrinking disc and skip it on a lake.

Find a old school front end shop. Old alignment pits were equipted to bend axles. There may not be anyone that knows how to do it any more.

Gino, you have one thing working for you, that is that the damaged panel has very strong shape. Compound curve vs flat. If you try this your self and use solder to tin with it must be acid core...

One thing is for sure, when that blade let's go you will know it!!. I thought the world had come to an end. I got lucky, didn't hit the read. Hit the hood down low. Got a 4 blade and water pump....
