Re: new main bolts
could not find original bolts.snyders and mike are selling these bolts.i made it work by grinding a socket on a taper,to torque the bolts.post picture later when grandchildren come.

anyone got any way to torque main bearing bolts when socket won't go down far enough on short bolt head?could not find orginal bolts

got it fixed.took carb off of other car to eliminate carburator it worked fine.after that took manifolds off,and got new manifold i had.used copper gaskets,other manifolds were warped. fired right...

alright gentlemen,did the bob bidonde spark in the dark test,great idea by the way, and found bad resistor.replaced, thet reinstalled straight manifolds,gasket, and still no gas to cylinders.removed...

the engine would fire and not run.pulled manifolds assuming the intake was leaking and not pulling gas up to run,plus exhaust manifold was leaking.i never got engine to run.i have got good spark at...

any one know why when i removed intake/exhaust manifold,raw gasoline was in one of the chambers?never seen this before thanks

i do know the shaft is under cut in the oil pump.my pressure is steady while driving but i will pay closer attention to numbers.i do know i dont have a baffle around oil pump.i just know while...

i dont have any bafffles around pump.dip stick is the same match with a model coupe i have,i'm sure as you say it nearly held 5 quarts.i just went for a drive and paid closer attention to oil...
