Plywood with an pattern of holes to let the air escape when you sit down so the seams done split.

That's what my 40 has and I had a orginal 38 that was the same way

Not that I'm aware of, the bottom edge of the firewall is cut out and the plate around the pedals has a step in it to clear the shifter arms

The column is the same as a car , the column drop and floor cover is unique to the pickup

The reason I avoid rubber hose, modern gas. I have had a number of deteriorated hose that wasnt that old.

If you use hose find the best quality available and keep an eye on it.

I make a bracket and mount them to the top of the rear crossmember were it's easy to access and plumb up. Perfer not to use rubber hose.

37 to 40 pitman arm also fits F1 steering box

$40 postage paid to the lower 48

1937 to 1940 stock pitman arm
No kinks or bends. Splines and taper looks good.

Use it for a stock application or use it on a F1 steering box in a hotrod

1940 ford frame

Full X center section from 1940 ford car or pickup frame.

Cut off were it meets the outer rails.

Solid and no deep heavy pitting. Center piece were the wishbone mounts has a small rot area.
