what i see is a original A block has a X reinforcement under the stud in the center, diamond blocks have none ---most diamond blocks have exhaust seat inserts

I have 3 of them apart, the pot metal has blisters inside, and the covers are warped to where a new gasket won't seal, and the shaft is worn so it is only tight without gaskets--- got a 4th to take...

first get the shaft through the seal without damaging it---then through speedo hole get bearing in place then push shaft in further, fit thrust washer align speedo drive gear on splines push a little...

You could release the snap ring through the speedometer gear hole—- and it will slide out, but that will just get it apart, to put it together I doubt you could easily get get all the pieces to line...

The oil pump is the main bearing cap---- just the gears are replaced, you would have to measure them to see if the same as American 60hp, the drive gear is hard to find in USA, I have found them but...

I would consider a new pressure plate that needs adjustments before use defective ---- it is something the factory sets up, but it seems a common obsession here with the model A and v8 people on this...

Ever since I read the replacement ring set instructions that said honing is not necessary if there is no bore damage I don't hone, --- even experimenting with putting used rings from another engine...

In a 30s radio installation book it said ( for reasons of radio interference), build up or move contacts to get 0.005 gap

A larger gap increases firing voltage for the spark plugs, a larger rotor...

use some head gasket in a jar---I have seen the results on engines with blown head gaskets, seen it make 1/2 inch of missing gasket
