1935 Ford Deluxe Hydrostatic Gas Gauge

I think I'm going to cut my filler neck in half and insert a rubber hose section that would move the cap end further out and more vertical as in the V-8 Affair photo.

Looking for a 1935-1937 Station Wagon Filler Neck

I'm tired of ruining the paint on my LR fender with gas spillage. I've never actually seen one of these optional filler necks for wagons.

This area of southern Massachusetts is still very rural and on the coast of Buzzards Bay. I can drive my '35 woodie for 20 miles and never see another car! There were a large number of dairy farms...

No I didn't see the mileage. The lady owner wasn't forthcoming ontalking about the car, only saying it wasn't for sale. I'm sure it's not going to be turned into a hot rod.
