Re: Adding old timey blinkers to my Ford
Ha, I say that about a lot of stuff. Swap meets or that auction site will get you back in business. I love the design of your blinker assembly.
FWIW: I did the following on my model A hot rod. It...

Re: Adding old timey blinkers to my Ford

I...

I think I will go with Rustoleum from now on. They have a very nice copper color that would look great on heater boxes etc.

Adding old timey blinkers to my Ford

Re: 1937 Cabriolet gutter and rear interior?
Here I have removed the seat cushions on this picture and you can see the side panels. However, there is nothing between the open quarter panel and the interior.
Sorry, my crappy mobile camera...

3000 miles in a flathead? Easy! I would love a road trip but I have to work to pay for my old car stuff so I am stuck up here in WA for now. Nice to have a place for all your toys. Thanks for the...

Re: 1937 Cabriolet with walls of white
Good point, I think the car is holding up better than I am.
Noted on the bubble balancer, I used them when I was a mechanic many years ago. Worked great.:)

Re: vega steering in 36
My '37 box is probably tired. I will consider rebuilding it but I not sure it will ever feel like a "modern" box. I like to keep the car original but drivability lifts the fun-factor.
I have had...
