Also, besides the jack support, the flange on the exhaust pipe may need some altering with a ball peen hammer, and the end of the manifold filed.

The tabs can work harden, and snap off. Marco mentioned heating the tabs to anneal them.
Probably screw up the plating. I have managed to break off tabs. Been a long while since I disassembled a...

could be warped, stripped screws, gaskets.
From its appearance I guess it has not been off the engine for a while.

The cardboard also will protect your knuckles. The radiator fins are knife edge sharp.
