I plan stuff out better and limit use of my F250. I also ride my motorcycle a lot more, and we take the smaller vehicle when taking longer trips if it makes sense. I still go where I want to...

Well, where I work an "AR" means "Action Required". I try to don my "AR Deflector" as much as possible, but always seem to collect my share of ARs anyway ;-)

My Dad had afew Model As when he was younger. I found my first just 2 yrs ago (my avitar) but I have been messing around w/ classic cars for about 35 years. This is my first Model A. Probably not...

Thanks for the tip. I have typically used PB Blaster on rusty bolts with good success but I'll give Lubri-Magic a try!

I like to use a little grease on both sides, I just "wet" the gasket with my fingers. Comes off clean next time you remove it.

Do you think you were able to get all of the "shrapnel" out of the transmission? I might be nervous that it could happen again. Might be best to pull it and repair it.
