I have a 1941 ford tudor sedan. Last year I changed out the engine to one I purchased out of a 53 mercury. Engine came with 3 speed overdrive bolted to it.

Would like to find all four arm shocks for 1941 ford tudor deluxe. If they work at all with no leaks that would be great. I do not want to get mine re built as that is very expensive.

Finally decided to save my 8BA rebuild for another day and just swap out the engine. Got a hold of a 1951 mercury that had been rebuilt fairly recently. Will try the overdrive swap that came with it...

Hey thanks fellows. I got lucky and the floor pan and carpet had been replaced by previous somebody.
So I did remove The pan and I am sure it will be much,much easier. It just made too much sense...

By removing the pan I called it wrong. The inside floor covering I called a pan. Getting some good ideas here as always.

it looks to me like it has the petronix ignition in it as it uses the same coil and wires that were suggested to me. Does timing change with that set up?
