when you open the hood on a 38, the prop automatically locks, holding the hood open, to get it to close you have to lift hood slightly, this unlocks the prop and hood will close, most people don't...

been running 59a distributor and stock cap , with 6volts, in our 38 dlx. coupe since 1964, never a moisture problem, maybe original is better, Henry knew best

They are he same shape and will fit; the 39 has holes for stainless on the bars; 38 has stainless down each side

I put a Wally world battery tender on our 38 conv'
, had a new Ford script battery on it; didn't check on it; when I did the battery was hot and boiled dry; put new acid in it, it never charged up,...
