I have used the 'wheel barrel' bearings on 3 early Ford steering column rebuilds. They will never wear out in this low load application at the top of the steering column.

I had my 42 Clock cleaned and oiled by a clock guy. Works fine laying on a table, but stops when installed in the dash.

1942 Upper Radiator Air Deflector

Need a 1942 Air Deflector that bolts under the nose of hood, instead of one the fits on the hood latch panel between the front fenders like 1946-48.

I would suggest that you use 16 gauge wire on the control circuit of the relay and at least 14 gauge wire on the battery circuit of the relay.
